Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024: Ready to Hit Roads on Nov 11

After the successful launch of the 4th-generation Swift, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to unveil the latest version of its popular compact sedan, the Dzire. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is slated for release on November 11, following the festive season. Known for its reliability and fuel efficiency, the Dzire aims to captivate buyers once more and will compete with models like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.

Redesigned Exterior: A Bold New Look

Recently leaked images showcase the Dzire’s redesigned aesthetics, marking a significant departure from its previous look. The sedan features a wide grille and sleek, full-LED headlamps on a broader front fascia, giving it a modern, upscale appearance. The bonnet adopts a longer, flatter design, while multi-spoke alloy wheels add to its appeal. The rear section is entirely revamped, providing a fresh, sophisticated look.

Upgraded Cabin and Features

Although the Dzire’s wheelbase remains similar to the outgoing model, slight modifications to the rear bench enhance cabin space. Inside, a dual-tone interior with beige accents adds elegance. The 2024 Dzire is expected to include features like power windows, central locking, six airbags, rear parking sensors, and a defogger. These features align with the new Swift’s specifications, promising safety and comfort.

Engine and Transmission Options

Under the hood, the new Dzire will be powered by a Z-Series 1.2L three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 81.58 hp and 112 Nm of torque. Buyers can select between a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed automatic. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki is expected to offer a factory-fitted CNG option, catering to those looking for economical fuel choices.

Expected Price Range

The existing Maruti Suzuki Dzire starts at ₹6.57 lakh (ex-showroom), and the updated model is likely to start around ₹6.99 lakh. Maruti Suzuki will offer five variants: LXI, VXI, VXI(O), ZXI, and ZXI+, catering to a range of preferences and budgets.

With these anticipated upgrades, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire aims to continue its success in the compact sedan segment, appealing to both new buyers and loyal fans.
